Hi all,
It seems there is a new Xbox that is crashing randomly when booting to the dashboard. This box has been labelled as v1.6B the manufacture date of these was 13/9/2004 to 19/9/2004 Dashboard version is 5960 and the kernel version is 5838
These Xboxes have Hynix RAM instead of Samsung.
Why did MS do this? 1: to use RAM from different vendors (cheaper) 2: to use more buggy RAM
Before a solution is found please check the manufacture date of your Xbox sets and avoid buying these
Hope this helps ;D
