Well, you got 2 choices. 1. Get hold of a modded xbox version v1.0 to v1.5 -> modchip must be installed using pinheader method. Install your wrongly flashed chip in this set. The set should boot up as M7 supports these version of xbox. Flash M8 into your modchip and remove to install back in your set. Done 2. Do a hot swap programming. For this method to work u need a friend's modded v1.6 xbox (pinheader install) Take your wrongly flashed Duox2 and solder a wire from modchip BT to the modchip Pin 9. Boot up the set with your friend's modchip . With the set still powered on, carefully remove the modchip and insert your modchip. Flash your modchip with M8 bios. Your're done. You can also use a good working modchip to do the steps above with your own set. WARNING: This is done at your own risk!!! I cannot be held responsible for any damages caused. I have done these steps many times and they do work. Be careful of electric shock as the power supply is exposed when u do this procedure. Do a google search "hotswap flashing of modchip" there may be better or clearer instructions out there. Good luck! ;D Hi Mechaman, I did a stupid thing by flashing my DUOX2 on XBOX v1.6 with Evox M7 bios. Now it won't boot up (frags after rebooting twice/trice). Hi Mechaman,
I tried the hotswap on a modded xbox with the Aladdin Adv 64 modchip. After booting into the flashing programme, i swapped the chips and the DuoX2 red led blinks. But, when i tried to flash, it gave "Manufacturer ID "Flash ID" - Flash not Writeable".
On the DuoX2, i linked BT to pin 9 (and no other wires soldered). On the Aladdin, i linked BT to pin 2, removed all other wires from the mobo to the chip and ground mobo DO point to a screw.
Please help!
Thanks!

this error is due to the flashing s/w not knowing what flash chip u have. If you are using Evox you have to update evox.ini with the following flash id for your Duox2 chip 0x01d5,"AMD - Am29F080B",0x100000 0x04d5,"FUJITSU - MBM29F080A",0x100000 0xadd5," HYUNDAI - HY29F080",0x100000 0x01a4,"AMD Am29F040B",0x80000 You can also use "Eurasia Pro Generic Flash" disc to flash the Duox2 Remember the size of the Duox2 flash is 512Kb Hi Mechaman, I tried the hotswap on a modded xbox with the Aladdin Adv 64 modchip.
